All appointments must be cancelled more 24 hours in advanced

By booking online, you agree to the Appointment Cancellation Policy and No Show Policy at New Day Wellness LLC:

Late Cancellation: cancelling less than 24 hours prior to appointment time, but at least 10 minutes prior to scheduled appointment time.

Late Cancellation Fee: * 1st time late cancellation: patient will be charged 10% of value of service of their appointment * 2nd time and onward late cancellation: patient will be charged 20% of value of service of their appointment

No Show Policy: No Show: patient did not show up to their scheduled appointment and they also did not reach out to cancel their appointment. A no show includes if a staff member from New Day Wellness LLC contacts patient at or after their appointment time. Even if patient is reachable to the staff, it is still considered a no show.

No Show Fee: * 1st time no show: patient will be charged 50% of value of service of their appointment. Patient will not be able to reschedule an appointment until this is paid. If this is the patient’s first visit, the patient’s ability to book online will be disabled until the patient speaks to a staff member from New Day Wellness LLC. * 2nd time no show: patient will be charged 100% of value of service of their appointment and they will be dismissed as a patient from New Day Wellness LLC.

Dr. Chesten Cantrell DC, LMT, CST-T

Dr. Cantrell became a Reiki Master in 2009, Doctor of Chiropractic in 2013, and licensed massage therapist in 2022. She has taken multiple CranioSacral courses through the Upledger Institute International since 2022 and has been certified in CranioSacral Techniques since 2024. Dr. Cantrell combines body work, energy work, and mind-body work to provide gentle, quality care for all ages.

Dr. Cantrell did not come from a holistic background. Even with that, she always knew she wanted to help people live a better quality of life. She also wanted to empower people with the knowledge that they had some control over their health and well-being.

Along with Reiki, Dr. Cantrell is a certified 13th Octave LaHoChi Practitioner. She has also attended multiple energy work seminars. Dr. Cantrell does believe there is some truth to the mind playing a key role in a person’s health. Even with her science background, Dr. Cantrell tries to remain open-minded to the possibilities of the world around us. Knowledge as we know it is constantly changing.

Dr. Cantrell has had the opportunity to work in many different types of chiropractic offices in Georgia, New York, and Virginia before returning to Rocky Mount, Franklin County, Virginia to open her business in April 2016, New Day Chiropractic. In 2024, Dr. Cantrell renamed her practice New Day Wellness to better reflect the services offered.
